Sometimes when I see the news or read an article I am just shocked. The alleged "mom" referenced in the above should never have been allowed to adopt a child. When a child, especially a 7 year old, acts out it's time to respond in love. If the behavior warrants it you owe it to the child to get professional help and not just abandon him. Children don't come with warranties and they don't come with money back guarantees.
I can't imagine what it must be like to be this 7 year old. I can only hope that he will find a new home where he can be loved and valued. That's more than I can hope for with this supposed "mom".
