On interviewing Joan Berry mother of Johnia Berry

Bookmark and Share

Today I had the great privilege of interviewing Joan Berry for Voices of Hope. Her daughter, Johnia Berry was murdered when a random thief broke into her apartment. After he couldn't find what he wanted he attacked Johnia and left a mother without her child.

Joan's strength is a beacon of light to others. Joan has endured tragedy and heartbreak by helping others. She successfully changed a law that requires anyone arrested for a felony in Tennessee to submit a DNA sample. This has helped victims throughout the state. She is an amazing woman.
